As of 1 October 2004, the government introduced a new regime of statutory grievance and disciplinary procedures and envisaged penalising employers in tribunal claims where there are no written terms and conditions of employment. It is now imperative for all employers to have written terms and conditions of employment and written grievance and disciplinary procedures that comply with the legal minimum guidelines. Hallens can provide assistance and advice on these important new changes. The firm has a competitive fee structure offering fixed fees for the preparation of contracts of employment and consultancy agreements as well as employment retainers that can be purchased for on going employment advice. All such fees are at rates that are lower than the firm's normal hourly rate. Our Principal is happy to discuss your individual requirements.
Hallens provides a number of additional services for the Employer. These include:
Hallens offers advice on a number of areas: These include Taking on new staff We can provide continuing support and advice to employers contemplating hiring new employees offering advise on terms of engagement and contracts of employment Dismissing Staff/Redundancies/Disciplining Staff Alternatively, if disputes arise, we can provide advice on an ongoing basis to ensure that your legal liabilities and exposure are reduced.
