Services for Employers

Hallens offers advice to employers on a number of areas, these include:

Taking on Staff

We can provide continuing support and advice to employers contemplating hiring new employees offering to advise on terms of engagement and contracts of employment

Dismissing Staff/Redundancies/Disciplining Staff

Alternatively, if disputes arise, we can provide advice on an ongoing basis to ensure that your legal liabilities and exposure are reduced.  This would include advice on disciplinary procedures to follow and guidance to ensure that any dismissals that arise would minimise the risks of unfair dismissal claims.

Settlement Agreements

In some cases, you may wish to negotiate a severance package with an employee.  Hallens has extensive experience of advising and drafting Settlement Agreements to ensure a trouble-free and amicable separation.

Defending Employment Tribunal Claims

If you are facing an Employment Tribunal claim, our principal will be happy to advise you on it and take the case on ensuring that you achieve the best possible result in a cost-efficient way.
